At least six people were killed and 22 injured in eastern Ukraine as Russian forces continued an intense campaign targeting civilian population centers with drones, missiles and artillery for a fourth straight day.

At least 11 people were killed and 30 injured in a Russian strike on Dobropillya, a town in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region, Ukrainian authorities say. Eight residential buildings and an administrative building were damaged in the attack late Friday, the regional emergency service reported. The town lies north-west of Russian-held Donetsk city.

The bombardment came after Washington’s decision to suspend intelligence sharing and hit a region critical for Ukrainian logistics and support.

Russia has launched a massive bombing campaign across Ukraine, with deadly strikes hitting Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. At least 20 people have been killed in multiple attacks, escalating tensions in the ongoing conflict.
