Starbucks fans are not hot about this cold drink change. Cold coffee orders will no longer come in a plastic cup in some Starbucks locations — rather, they’ll be served in fiber-based compostable cold cups.

Starbucks is once again causing cup controversy, not with their annual Christmas cups, but rather the new compostable cups now being used for iced drinks.

Many Starbucks customers are not happy with the new cups - that are used for iced coffee as well as hot - but it's not the cup that the problem, it's the lid
