Earlier today, Denver Broncos insider Mike Klis reported the Broncos had signed fullback Adam Prentice. In order to make room for Prentice, a corresponding roster move had to be made. According to Zac Stevens of DNVR, offensive lineman Nick Gargiulo has been placed on injured reserve. That news was confirmed by Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette.
Not only is Deguara a better blocker than all three of them, but he's tougher as a receiver than Krull, has shown more in the NFL than Prieskorn, and has significantly more experience than Lohner. Plus, Deguara has the versatility to play special teams and fullback to help fill in for Adkins while he misses time.
