Oregon's largest wildfire grew to 94,000 acres by July 18 — just short of becoming the state's first megafire of the season.

A grass fire in St. Helens, Oregon was brought under control by crews around noon and drivers are still being advised to avoid the area while work continues.

A spokesperson for Fred Meyer told KOIN 6 News every associate at the Gateway store would be given the opportunity to transfer to a new location.
