Drake Maye has shown an incredible ability to utilize his legs this season, and the New England Patriots are loving what they are seeing from him in that regard. However, the Patriots may curb how much Maye is allowed to run moving forward.

The Patriots took two more rookies late in the draft. Quarterback Joe Milton III, a sixth-rounder, has yet to be active as the third-stringer behind Maye and Jacoby Brissett. Bell has played 33 offensive snaps with one 1-yard catch.

New England Patriots offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt isn’t giving Drake Maye a pass for the numerous turnovers. Many have chalked those struggles up to a rookie quarterback learning at the NFL level. However, Van Pelt shot down the rookie excuse when speaking with media members on Wednesday.
