The singer-songwriter, who trained to be a K-pop idol before transitioning to songwriting, is finally getting her much-deserved moment in the spotlight thanks to the success of the Netflix animated film and its soundtrack.

This week, two old standbys — Morgan Wallen 's I'm the Problem and Alex Warren 's "Ordinary" — top the Billboard albums and singles charts, respectively.

"KPop Demon Hunters' realistic depiction of various Korean cultures, including K-Pop and K-Food, went viral and is creating a global fandom," the company said in a statement.
