Missing pregnant teen Kylee Monteiro texted "If I die, it was Greg," prosecutor says of murder
Gregory Groom was ordered held without bail in the murder of his pregnant 18-year-old girlfriend Kylee Monteiro in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
Gregory Groom, 22, was charged with aggravated assault and battery on a pregnant person, domestic assault and battery, and intimidation of a witness “for acts committed against” Kylee Monteiro on Aug. 6, Bristol District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III’s office said.
Monteiro was nearly three months pregnant at the time, her family said, as previously reported by WCVB and WBZ. She had told a friend — one of the last ones to see Monteiro alive — that she was not feeling safe. "She was like 'I don't feel safe right now something's not right,'" the friend reportedly said, per WCVB.
The 22-year-old boyfriend of a pregnant teenager who went missing admitted to police that he had gotten physical with her during an argument.
