Georgia lawmakers, Democrats and Republicans, are pushing for the Ocmulgee Mounds to become a National Park and Preserve.

This is not the first time the rare hantavirus has been traced to a National Park, as there were cases in people who had visited Yosemite National Park in 2012.

“Jasmine’s Law does a lot, but it doesn’t do anything to prevent rape. If we want a successful society, we have to prevent it,” Jimenez said.
