Seattle Mariners ace Logan Gilbert was placed on the injured list with a Grade 1 flexor tendon strain. When the diagnosis came out, it sounded like good news, but it's also the same diagnosis that Robbie Ray got in 2023 before undergoing flexor tendon surgery and Tommy John that caused him to miss a year and a half.

There has been a major hiccup in the Seattle Mariners organization with the injury of star pitcher Logan Gilbert. Gilbert was placed on the 15-day injury list on Saturday after sustaining a right elbow flexor strain after throwing just 29 pitches against the Miami Marlins on Friday.

The Mariners are shutting down Logan Gilbert from throwing for at least two weeks and promoting pitcher Logan Evans to make his MLB debut on Sunday.
