Matt Hardy expresses his appreciation for having the opportunity to wrestle alongside his brother Jeff Hardy on "WWE NXT."

The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) returned to the WWE ring for the first time in years on WWE NXT. No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne and Tavion Heights) called out The Hardys on the February 18th episode of WWE NXT,

After defeating Tavion Heights and Myles Borne on February 25, the NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom and Nathan Frazer confronted Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. After weeks of flirting with the idea, both teams wanted to cut through the BS and agreed to a match.

This NXT appearance is Jeff Hardy’s first time back with WWE since 2021, when he was released by the company after leaving through the crowd during a house show match. Matt said Jeff wants to make things right with WWE and show them that his past erratic behavior is over.

The Hardys are set to defend their TNA World Tag Team Championship against NXT Tag Team Champions FrAxiom after the challenge was made during "WWE NXT."

As per WrestleVotes, there's an internal "buzz" in WWE that this is "just the beginning" for the Hardys back in WWE. Sources within the company are optimistic that Matt and Jeff will have a main roster run at some point in the spring or summer.
