A six-week shutdown of Fresno County-based Raw Farm dairy, the state’s leading raw milk bottler, has cost the company at least $2.7 million in lost sales, founder Mark McAfee told The Bee this week.

After two limited recalls, all raw milk and cream from a Fresno-based dairy farm must be removed from store shelves. The cows at Raw Farm are infected with H5N1 bird flu, state officials say.

"I think you're going to see major changes within six to eight months," the founder and CEO of the family-operated Raw Farm near Fresno, California, predicted in an interview with Fox News Digital.
