The Supreme Court has clarified to the Competition Commission of India that it will “not get special treatment” as the top court refuses to transfer the writ petitions filed in several High Courts challenging its antitrust probe against e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart.

India's antitrust body has asked the Supreme Court to hear legal challenges to an investigation of Amazon and Walmart's Flipkart e-commerce platforms, saying those challenges, filed by Samsung, Vivo and others at Indian high courts,

The AG argued that the matter affects millions of consumers, and that CCI was in the court in public interest and not as a private litigant.
