Jenna Ortega and Taylor Russell are in talks to lead an upcoming reboot of iconic 1992 erotic thriller Single White Female, according to a report published by The Insneider on March 14.

Elizabeth Gabler’s 3000 Pictures, which has a deal with Sony, is looking to remake 1992 horror drama that starred Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The feature was directed by Barbet Schroeder and was based on John Lutz’s 1990 novel SWF Seeks Same. Lutz co-wrote the adaptation with Don Roos.

Jenna Ortega is said to be in talks to star in the remake of an iconic 90s thriller, along with Taylor Russell. The Wednesday actress, who is gearing up for the release of Death of a Unicorn, has been linked to a reboot of Single White Female – 32 years after the original hit the big screen with Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
