Three-time Tour de France champion Tadej Pogacar won Stage 4 after several late climbs and inched closer to yellow jersey holder Mathieu van der Peul.

Tadej Pogacar secures his 100th professional victory in the Tour de France by outsprinting Mathieu van der Poel in Stage 4's finale. Despite a tough climb and tactical challenges, Pogacar emerged victorious in a dynamic race where he reclaimed the polka dot jersey.

Pogacar and Van der Poel have exactly the same overall time of 16 hours, 46 minutes after four stages, and count one stage win each, but Van der Poel kept the yellow jersey because of better finishing positions in the other two stages.
