Report: Warriors linked to multiple veteran free agents during offseason stalemate
The standoff between the Warriors and Kuminga has slowed down Golden State's activity with other free agents during the offseason. Despite not signing a player this summer, the Warriors continue to be linked to multiple veteran free agents.
The Golden State Warriors are the only NBA team that hasn’t made a move yet this offseason. As other teams around the league improve themselves in pursuit of a championship, that’s not exactly the best news for Steph Curry and co.
While that may be the case, the saga between Kuminga and the Warriors is sure to end before the start of next season and if he remains in Golden State, Hoops Wire’s Sam Amico has him as the Warriors’ top potential trade candidate.
The league office also highlighted that starting games on time is a point of emphasis, as the NBA has been panned for its late tipoff times in recent years. NBC, which has been the local provider for Warriors games locally since 2011, will be the only company allowed to broadcast nationally on Tuesday, taking over the slot long held by TNT.
