This juvenile Chipmunk was caught by a dog and is recovering at the center. Their diet consist of seed, bulbs, insects to mushrooms. Chipmunks dig extensive burrows and carry soil away in their cheeks to help keep their hole hidden. These little rodents live on average for three years. If you have problems with these small rodents consider keeping your birdseed, their preferential food from collecting on the ground.
