Here is a radar view of the supercell thunderstorm that moved through Mesa on Tuesday (9/12/23). This loop shows the 0.9° tilt reflectivity and velocity from the Phoenix radar (KIWA), labeled by the white radar symbol. This tilt is sampling ~1000 ft above the surface.
