A powerful wave breached the seawater pool barrier at Isla Cangrejo in Tenerife, causing multiple fatalities amid a rough-sea advisory on Monday, December 8. As of this report, the victims include a 35-year-old man, a 55-year-old woman, and another individual for whom authorities have released no further information. A fourth woman died after being revived at the scene and airlifted to a hospital. Authorities have released limited information as recovery efforts continue for this missing victim.
