Dina, or Dinah, a woman enslaved at Drayton Hall, was a courageous woman who risked her life by resisting slavery and attempting to gain freedom multiple times. She may have been married to a man named Bever who made similar attempts. In 1804, Dina left the plantation with her two children, whose names are not recorded. While they were away, Dina was captured and imprisoned in a jail at Jacksonboro. She was later returned to Drayton Hall, but it's unknown whether her children were also captured.
