Our beautiful pipe organ has a little secret it shares with many other organs: half its sounds come from physical pipes and half comes from a software system called Hauptwerk that includes recorded sounds from historic organs all over the world. We like to begin our service with the chiming of the hour, but in a recent software update the organ “forgot” how to play the chimes. With a little help from a friend, the chimes are back!
