Gorillas in general have never killed a human, neither in the wild nor in captivity. There’s a few cases of gorillas injuring humans, mostly in the confusion of them escaping an enclosure, and some of those injuries were serious, but the consensus is there wasn’t any intent to kill. Gorillas absolutely hate fighting; it’s a waste of energy, and they’re very social, empathetic creatures.
