Google marked the 204th birth anniversary of American scientist and inventor Eunice Newton Foote through a doodle on July 17, 2023. Eunice Newton Foote was born on July 17, 1819 and she was the first scientist to propound the greenhouse effect. Foote found that rising carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere would lead to rise in temperatures and may also effect the climate.
